Neil Winch

SVP, Development (Europe)

Neil joined EdgeCore in 2022 as its first European team member and is based in our London office.  He is responsible for growing EdgeCore’s Europe platform through the acquisition, development, design, and delivery of world-class, sustainably constructed data centers to serve our clients.

Neil brings to EdgeCore broad experience in data center development, having led projects underwritten to aggregate more than 500 MW at stabilization, primarily across Tier 1 and Tier 2 European data center markets. Prior to joining EdgeCore, Neil played a key role in the formation of and investment into Yondr Group’s global data center platform. At Yondr, Neil led all acquisition and development activities, with a predominant focus on land and development, including entitlements, feasibility, design, and construction planning as well as coordinating utility connections including power and fiber. Prior thereto, Neil worked for Turner & Townsend and real estate developers in roles of increasing responsibility, delivering over 3 million square feet of residential, commercial and city regeneration projects. Neil has 20+ years’ experience in real estate development and project management in Europe and internationally.

Neil’s holds a Diploma in Mechanical and Production Engineering and a Master’s in Strategic Management from University College London.
