Due in part to the huge demand for data center power in Virginia, electricity options are increasingly limited but still relatively inexpensive when compared to neighboring states. EdgeCore’s Ashburn campus offers customers access to AC/DC power sources, as well as renewable power options. To further lower electricity costs, EdgeCore’s data centers feature air-cooled chillers with economization and zoned lighting controls with dimmable LEDs.
