Savings Made Possible by State Legislation

In 2009, the State of Virginia enacted legislation making qualified data center facilities, including EdgeCore’s campus, exempt from state sales and use taxes on computers and related equipment. Meaning, EdgeCore customers that meet certain hiring and salary thresholds are eligible for substantial monetary savings related to their data center deployment in Loudoun County.

Power Features That Lower TCO

Due in part to the huge demand for data center power in Virginia, electricity options are increasingly limited but still relatively inexpensive when compared to neighboring states.
